There’s of course the celebration of America’s Birthday on July 4th! But let’s talk about BBQ’s, pools, stickin your toes in the sand at the beach, being comfortable to wear a tank top again, and margaritas by the fire at night.
The Wayfair Summer Edit Q & A with Ayla Brown
Wayfair: Which area of your home are you most focused on updating or sprucing up for the summer season and why?
Ayla Brown: I own a home with a pool, so anytime I can spruce up the outside area the better. Since moving into the house, the pool area has somewhat felt forgotten. But not this summer! I am determined to make that outdoor area everything we dreamed of, and more!
Wayfair: Which color palettes are speaking to you this season?
Ayla Brown: It’s not a season thing for me. I’ve ALWAYS been drawn to “blue” tones and earthy palettes. There’s something so settling to the spirit to see those colors.
Wayfair: Are there any home design trends that you are really loving right now?
Ayla Brown: While it’s bold, I’m LOVING the painted kitchen cabinets. It really makes the room “pop!” I wish I had the guts to paint them.
Wayfair: Which activities are you most looking forward to this summer?
Ayla Brown: Live music… I am a country music singer, so I’m looking forward to getting back out there to perform again in front of real people! I’m also looking forward to pool time, beach time, and seeing my baby niece, CeCe!
