Massachusetts-based broadcaster and singer Ayla Brown is the host of The Flyover Podcast, a fast-growing daily news program delivering clear, concise, and non-editorial reporting to a national audience.
Launched as an extension of The Flyover email edition, the podcast brings the publication’s fact-first approach to both audio and video platforms. Each weekday episode covers the day’s most important headlines across politics, business, sports, technology, and culture—presented in a format designed for efficiency without sacrificing clarity.

Brown brings extensive national and regional broadcasting experience to the role. She previously served as a national news contributor for The Early Show on CBS, appeared as a contributor on Great American Country, and spent nearly six years as a morning radio host on WKLB 102.5 Country in Boston. She also hosted the syndicated radio program, “Nashville Minute” for two years and served as the public address announcer for Boston College Women’s Basketball for three seasons.
Her role on The Flyover places her at the center of the show’s editorial delivery, where she transforms written reporting into a conversational, easy-to-digest format while maintaining a neutral, fact-driven tone.
Since its launch, The Flyover podcast has experienced rapid growth, now reaching millions of viewers and listeners each month and complementing a newsletter audience that has expanded into the millions across national and regional editions.
“I’ve always believed people want the news without the noise,” Brown said. “The goal with The Flyover is to give listeners the facts in a way that respects their time and lets them draw their own conclusions.”
In addition to hosting, Brown plays an active role in shaping the show’s tone and structure, working closely with writers and editors to ensure each episode aligns with the brand’s mission of unbiased, accessible journalism.
The podcast is available across major platforms and continues to grow as audiences increasingly seek streamlined alternatives to traditional news formats.
