









It was announced late last week that Ayla will be singing "The Star-Spangled Banner" at the 58th annual Beanpot Championship game tomorrow between her very own Boston College Eagles and the Boston University Terriers. The game will take place at the TD Bank Garden in Boston and will be carried live on NESN. Game time is set for 8 p.m.



Ayla will make her first national television appearance since her father, Scott Brown, was elected to the U.S. senate, when she stops by CBS's network morning program The Early Show on Tuesday. Ayla will be present throughout the show, as clips of her performing songs from her forthcoming release Circles will be used as commercial break transitions throughout the show, which airs from 7-9 a.m. ET.



Ayla will be at her father's election night celebration tomorrow night at the Park Plaza Hotel in downtown Boston where she will be performing with The James Montgomery Blues Band and The Uptown Horns in addition to signing copies of her album, Forward. Portions of proceeds from the CD sales will be donated to the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund in support of the victims of the earthquake in Haiti last week. Ayla's father, Massachusetts Republican State Senator Scott Brown, is currently running for the open U.S. senate seat left vacant by the late Ted Kennedy. The election takes place on Tuesday, Jan. 19, just 12 days from now. This race is of enormous importance, because Mr. Brown would be the 41st vote against the pending "Obamacare" legislation and would be an independent thinker working on behalf of the people of Massachusetts and the rest of the country.












It was announced yesterday that Ayla is nominated for a Boston Music Award (BMA) in the category of "Female Vocalist of the Year." Fans can vote for Ayla by visiting the BMAs' Web site until Tuesday, Dec. 1. Voting is unlimited and accounts for one-third of the criteria used to determine winners.












Ayla's much anticipated live album, Ayla Brown Live!, will be available to purchase on the iTunes music store beginning Tuesday, Nov. 10. The seven-song album will include collaborations with The James Montgomery Blues Band and The Uptown Horns on classic songs like "Dancing In the Streets" and "Respect," as well as Ayla's own songs like "Breaking Away." The album will also include a bonus track - the studio version of a new song called "Come Together."



The Horace Mann Educational Associates (HMEA) recently announced that Ayla will be the recipient of an award recognizing her contributions to the organization over the past. The award will be presented to her at a ceremony held at the Doubletree Hotel in Milford, Mass., on Thurs., Oct. 1. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and he ceremony will last from 7-8:30 p.m.

Ayla will perform a 30-minute set tomorrow at the Allston Village Street Fair from 2-2:30 p.m. The concert will take place on Harvard Avenue between Brighton Avenue and Cambridge Street. The event will take place from 12-6 p.m. following Brian J. Honan Memorial 5K Race and the Allston-Brighton Parade. The Allston Village Street Fair sponsors a Philanthropic Objective each year, which will be represented by the Haley House in 2009.

It was announced today that Ayla will have the honor of singing "The Star-Spangled Banner" at the 2009 American Hockey League (AHL) All-Star Classic on Mon., Jan. 26. The performance, as well as the game, will be broadcast live on NESN in the U.S. and on TSN in Canada beginning at 7 p.m. EST and will be available in 100 million homes throughout North America.


Ayla's father, Sen. Scott Brown, will serve as a guest DJ for Boston's 93.7 Mike-FM tomorrow morning from 9-10 a.m. He will take part in a day-long radio-a-thon called "Mike-FM's Request for Help" that will benefit the Franciscan Hospital for Children. To request a song, just call 1-866-931-MIKE (6453) and an operator will be standing by to accept a donation for the request, with the more obscure requests costing more.




Ayla will sing "The Star-Spangled Banner" at the Boston College / Clemson football game on Sat., Nov. 1 at 3:30 p.m. ET at Alumni Stadium in Chestnut Hill, Mass. The game will be broadcast on the ESPNU network. The last time Ayla sang the National Anthem at a BC football game was the Nov. 2, 2007 match between the Eagles and the Florida State University.

Ayla will sing "The Star-Spangled Banner" at the New England Patriots / Denver Broncos Monday Night Football game, which will be broadcast on ESPN. Kickoff time is at 8:30 p.m. ET, but coverage begins at 8:00 p.m. ET. This is MNF's 600th broadcast, so be sure to tune in to cheer on the Pats and hopefully catch a glimpse of Ayla.

Ayla will sing "The Star-Spangled Banner" at the World Champion Boston Celtics' home opener at the TD Banknorth Garden on Tues., Oct. 28. In addition to her performance the pregame festivities will feature the raising of the Celtics' NBA Championship banner. The game will be televised nationally on TNT, with pregame coverage beginning at 7 p.m. ET.



Ayla will co-host the "Shales and Danny V. Talking High School Sports!" show on Boston's 1510 AM The Zone on Sat., Aug. 9, from 10 a.m-12 p.m. Ayla will sub for the vacationing Danny Ventura and will be Mike Shalin's co-host for the entire two hours. Coming off a championship win for the 2007-08 season, the task of searching for the perfect dancers for the Boston Celtics' upcoming season was of utmost importance. Ayla served as one of eight celebrity judges for the auditions, which were held at the Roxy in Boston on Thurs., July 24.

Ayla will star as the narrator in the Boston production of the classic Broadway musical "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." many fans. Later, they were able to meet with Ayla. Faces lit up as fans saw Ayla, and the street teamers got to have dinner with her.

Brown, who placed 13th on this year's American Idol competition, has
signed an exclusive recording contract today with Double Deal Brand
Records. Ayla's debut album - "FORWARD>" - will be released
nationally on October 17th, and will be available at all major
retailers, itunes and all other digital stores. It can also be
pre-ordered at Amazon.com starting in mid-September. Ayla's debut
double-single "Know You Better/ I Quit" will be released on Tuesday,
September 12th on Amazon.com and at all digital music stores. "Know You
Better" will be serviced and worked nationally to CHR and top 40 radio,
with an official add date of September 12th. Early commitments are
already in from many local Boston radio stations. In addition, several
local, regional and national print pieces are in the works, with more
interviews scheduled in the next two weeks. The video for "Know You
