im a HUGE HUGE basketball fan specially womens bball and it would have been great if BC was still in the Big East because i go to uconn and i have season tickets for the womens games and they would have played BC atleast once ... but im gunna try to go to a BC game anyway to see her play

well here are the games that are currently going to be on TV

BC sched

one of them is ESPN2 which is national ... the other ones are on NESN which is a regional station i believe ((which i happen to get at uconn sooo thats a good thing))

and of course ill be a BC fan all season ... up until they have play uconn in the NCAA tournament when and if they do ... lol

i go to UCONN too! what year are you? i have a ton of stickers, we should hand them out somtime! haha ..i also have womens season tickets for both Hartford and Gampel and i told Ayla's mom at the Big E how i wish they were in our conference so we could see her!

and im sure it will be more than that ... BC usually has a strong team and will without a doubt make the NCAA tournament sooo thats another one and im pretty sure the ACC championship will be nationally televised if not more of the tournament because its a pretty big conference since Duke and UNC are in it sooo im sure a few more games will pop up nationally

yep, 10 her old b-ball number ...i'm hopefully gonna be going to a couple of her games!! so excited !!!

k right now we're gunna get tickets to 5 games (for home, 1 away) its hard because im not that close to boston or i would go to more

i have to travel like an hour or so to get there (but i'd do anything for ayla!! lol) so maybe i'd see you at one of the games...i don't know how many i'm going to yet though...

We're going to have a pretty big group for the first game. I think there will be 10 of us but not sure exactly. I know for a fact though that Jen and I and the three of our friends that were at Fanuiel hall will be there maybe some others.

Is the first game November 7th? Maybe we should have an official 'fan game'? Or, maybe Ayla will be too busy celebrating with her teemmates if they win. Hmm, any houghts?

welll the fans can have their gathering and of course the teammates will be celebrating their first win of their first game. What Ayla is doing afterwards shouldn't affect what the fans do since we as fans can not and should not expect that Ayla can meet up with the fans each time we attend games. Perhaps, it will include a component of seeing and being greeted by Ayla but as fans, we all have to be understanding, as you said above, that she may have obligations with her teammates and or family after games... or... ummmm... how bout the press interviewing her and her teammates after their smashing wins???
but a first game fan gathering is certainly a fabulous concept, not sure if it will include me and my fam but, that shouldn't stop anything.

Yeah we're going the 12th. If we get 10 seats, the tickets are only $2 each which is pretty cool. And yeah, I'm definitely not getting my hopes up or anything, it's basketball, it's not like it's a singing event or anything. She has a team and it might be unfair to the team especially for a freshman playing their first game in the NCAA. But I will be there to hopefully see a great game, cheer on BC (although it's always BU hockey hahaha) and have a good time with my friends.

last year, the earlyNCAA tournament rounds were held about 10 minutes away from my house...

i figured out, with school and all, that i can most likely make it to at least 3-4 games. (november 17, december 28, january 4, and maybe february 23) i hope i can go to at least most of those !!
