AYLA BROWN'S DEBUT ALBUM IN STORES EVERYWHERE TOMORROW!

Ayla's album is being carried nationwide by FYE, Strawberries, Coconuts, Sam Goody, Musicland, Best Buy, Wal*Mart, Borders, Barnes & Noble, Amazon.com, itunes, Wal*Mart.com, Napster, SonyConnect and dozens of other digital download stores and retailers.

Target is the only store to not pick it up (they carry fewer titles compared to most retailers.) They have told us they will watch her sales and decide to bring it in at anytime if they see it begin to sell. Feel free to request it at your local Target anyway, the more feedback, the better chance we have of getting it in their stores quickly.

Most national music retailers should be carrying the CD, with especially heavy inventories in the Northeast. It is being added this week to the Wal*Mart $9.72 Music Display at the front of all the stores. You may not find it on the W*M rack immediately (but it should be in most stores tomorrow) but quantity is on its way now. I have heard reports of FYE's throughout the northeast getting 20 copies or more in their shipments.

If you cannot find it in your local store, or they are already sold out, please post that in this thread. Just let me know what store and town and ZIP CODE, and our distributors will be sure that CD's get shipped back to the store as quickly as possible.

Thanks Wayne. I\'ll be sure to make the rounds tomorrow to see what local stores are carrying it and the amount they have on display. I\'m surrpised Target will not be carrying it. Hopefully they reconsider as sales start coming in.

Do you know if Circuit City and Kmart will have it available? I know CC has it on its website and I thought I remembered hearing it would be in Kmart.

Yes, Circuit City should have it as well. K-Mart brought it in lightly only to their Northeast stores, but we believe will be coming back in bigger now that Wal*Mart is getting behind the album. Target only carries a fraction of what a normal record store does, so their very picky. If sles start to take off, and remain steady, I'm sure they'll be carrying it before long.

Remember also, if it sells quickly, the computer systems at most of these stores will automatically re-order it, so it will definitely get back into stock quickly.

That\'s a good point. That might work in our favor if they have to continually have to keep re-ordering it, maybe they will place larger orders.

Just got my Forward Album this morning at F.Y.E at the Emeral Square mall in North Attelboro MA. I saw at least 5 more on the shelf. I was there about 11 AM.

I went to the Barnes & Noble at Prudential Center. They did not have it.

I had my mom go to the Walmart near our house, and they did not have it either.

was there any kind of signage there at all, like behind the register, posters, or anything under new releases, we are trying to get an idea as to how they are advertising it, if at all...

No unfortunatley I didn't see any promotional tools. I was hoping it would have been in the front of the store. I asked where it was when I didn't see it up front. It was mixed in with the others on the pop shelf alphabetically. The sales girl did know excacty what I was asking for though, that was a good sign.

Neither of the Best Buys near me have it ... they said to check back on Friday, they may have it then, but they weren't even really sure what CD it was. FYE DOES have it, though, so I'll be heading over there to buy my copy as soon as the rain lets up!

Neither of the Best Buys near me (one in Willow Grove, PA and the other in Philadelphia, PA) have it ... but the FYE in Bensalem does, so that's great news!

If anyone lives in Mass and can't find it I would be willing to drive back to the F.Y.E. store today and buy some then stop and put them in the mail or something like that. I could do that only for about another hour.

Ask if they are getting it in if they do not have it. In every case, when someone has asked them to look it up in their systems, they discover that it is in transit and should be in within a day or two.

please note that many of these stores get their shpiments in but rely on a minimum wage overworked disinterested worker to stock the shelves. To them its another box before quitting time. Many times it takes a few days for those boxes to get unpacked. Its the way of the large department store record department. I have literally strongly urged a clerk or two to unpack it\'s Diana DeGarmo cd\'s a few days after release date.

I just got back from the Best Buy at Landmark Center. Lots of JoJo and Ruben, but no Ayla

Best Buy today said that they sold out (which I guess means they had copies) and two more are coming in the shipment tonight and more on Friday.

FYE had lots of copies, but they wouldnt let me put it in the new release section haha

wal*mart in 01864 (north reading, ma) said they didn't have it (posting that for my friend haha)
