Yea, I was just wondering this as well. BC and BU are big rivalries. I am sure they put the rivalry aside to welcome Ayla, how could they not.

That's what I was just going to say, that they're huge rivals. Good thing she's not on the hockey team is all I can say. Between the Beanpot tourney and last years NCAA Hockey post-season pitting BC against BU for I think it was a spot in the Frozen Four to play Minnesota...I could have my facts wrong.

That sounds about right as far as the way the 2 teams ended things last season. BC won 5-0, against the Terriers but then went on to loose to Wisconnin in a heartbreaker 2-1. Don't worry I had to look some of that up. I remembered seeing most of the Frozen Four last season but had to get some help with the particulars, senior moment.

The BC concert went well, no hecklers, no-one gave A. a hard time, she sold just under 100 cd\'s. There was not a big turn out, this had nothing to do with Ayla, BC has been competing against lots of city events, and they\'ve been having a hard time getting people to events. Ayla was fairly sick too.
2 days of a sore throat and antibiotics, but she muscled her way through it and did great.
she\'s resting,(well Ayla\'s form of resting) and preparing for this weekend with the BSO.

that\'s it.....

Oh well, at least she gets to rest now. You meant BU, right?

Any more info on the BSO? I don\'t want that to sneak up on us without knowing details.

yes, I meant BU......
I will have more info on this fridays event, from what I know, it\'s some kind of
parents night in a 15,000 seat stadium, at either BU, or BC. in the stadium where they have the football games.
still trying to get the details.
we are working on the entire score, including a conductors score so the entire symphony will be performing "Forward"
this is taking an immense amount of time, so I will get more details later...

Ayla is officially in BED....with direct orders not to talk or use her voice in any way

thanks everyone....

jim

Yeah, poor Ayla. It's understandable how she could get sick though, with all her activities, and given that it's the time of year a lot of people get sick anyway. I'm sure she's the type that would never disobey orders not to use her voice though, so I bet she'll be better pretty quickly!
