Just checked in with Wayne, the official solicitation started today.
i-tunes usually waits til this has begun, so.. usually they will not put up anything until they see these forms from the vendor, and distributors.
Amazon already sold out of the singles that they had, so once they are gone the
computer generates "Item unavailable" we shipped more to them yesterday. these were gone in the first two or three days, they did not have a large supply, they usually test run these things, before you can send them a bulk shipment.
So be patient with i-tunes, it's comin'..... it should also appear on walmart.com, napster.com, snocap.com, any quite few other digital sales companies.
Wayne is working non-stop with this stuff, and it really takes time....today Wayne is
working a sony event, and checking out early to confirm all is OK with all of this.we'll keep everyone posted.

Hey gang,
The single should be appearing on itunes soon, but I can't say exactly when, it may end up being next Tuesday. Honestly, because the record was just mastered a week ago and finished, itunes usually takes two weeks to process the files, artwork, systems, etc., and I think we may have missed this week's window. It's really unusual to record and album as fast as we did and then release it immediately, and because of that, we may experience these small 'bumps' in the road as we get Ayla's single up online. We're still working with Apple to see if we can get it posted asap before next Tuesday. It should be appearing very quickly, however, on Wal*Mart.com and Napster, etc., so many of the smaller dsp's should be getting it up faster. Amazon will make the single available for purchase again once they begin to receive the goods through their distribution system, unfortunately another long process that we just have to wait through.
The good news is, however, that with the sales from the Big E, the Amazon initial small inventory that sold immediately, and the CD's that are selling in stores in Ayla's hometown and surrounding communities, it looks like Ayla will be a sure lock for a top 5 debut on the Billboard Singles Sales Chart a week from tomorrow. The sales that come in from itunes and amazon in the next couple of weeks will just help us to keep the single way up on the charts as we approach street date for the album, which is important for us to do, so this may turn out to be a blessing in disguise to be able to split the big sales from last weekends shows with the retail and digital sales that will start to come in next week.
Regarding the album itself, it will definitely be available on October 17th at itunes and all other digital providers, Amazon (where you can pre-order it right now) or at retail stores across america, will especially storng presence in the Northeast at stores like Wal*Mart, Best Buy, Strawberries, FYE, etc. We have enough lead time with the album where we will not run into these problems we are having with the single, just because the single was so rushed to market. (We got the CD singles just the day before The Big E started!) Count on October 17th for sure.
We'll continue to update you this week as we progress, and we should have a better idea of what stores will have it on street date by the end of next week, so we'll be sure to pass that info on. Any street teamers who would like to help Ayla out a bit on October 17th? We'll be looking for fans to go to your local record stores and ask if they would let you hang a small 12x18" poster for the album. We have really great posters, and we could send a couple to anyone who would be willing to take them to the local record stores. If ya send us a picture of the posters hanging in stores, we'll hook you up with a t-shirt.
Thanks for everyone's support, continue to spread the word. Anyone on myspace, make sure to friend Ayla and drop her into your top friends if you feel so inclined, it would help spread the word amongst all your friends.
Later!
