Will there be any attempt on getting Forward to Satellite radio? I'm on XM and they have a few stations that play AC.

XM and Sirius are being serviced with the single, yes. Good question.

I can contact WMAG radio and
maybe WRAL radio but probably
not WSRN anymore because it's
now a dance type radio station I think.

Hey Adam and other Ma people, do any of you get WSRS 96.1 radio:

Radio Station Letters:WSRS
Station Name:
Location: Worcester MA
Request telephone number:508-792-WSRS (9777
Radio Station number to tune in:96.1
Website Link: http://www.wsrs.com/main.html

this looks like an intersting station: among the last 10 songs played were by Rascall Flatts, John Mayer, Celine Dion, Bryan Adams and Rod Stewart.
They have a few all request hours, a listen live online option,a rating system for songs played on the radio!

I get WSRS but would it be beneficial for me to call even though I'm about an hour outside of Worcester?

I actually really like the station.. I was listening to day.. and I'm hooked.. I'm serious.. and I've been a consistent Kiss 108 listener literally all my life.. so that takes a lot for me to say that. If you get the station clearlly on your dial and its believable3 that you listen than its cool.

altho.. Jen and Liz.. we really need you for the Springfield stations where you truly are the locals..

Yeah, I'm definitely going to keep up with 94.7. I don't listen to it much (I listen to the two country stations mainly) but I'll start now to get familiar with the DJs and such.

That's an excellent idea, Liz. I'm going to be listening to Magic & WSRS in order to get warmed up for the single's release, and I encourage everyone to do the same with their stations

If you can receive the station on your radio, you can definitely call in.
they'll see the area code and know your from close by.
it's great to have you girls back......I can't believe you two were living in the lap of luxury, in Spain!! you guys are soooo cooool!!

Try to reach out to whoever you can as friends....friends parents, just talk about it and mention it to everyone you can, that helps spread the word more than people think it does.....people love to talk...

spread the word my countrymen, my fellowman.......

I really helps if everyone starts to listen to their station that is closest to you which is on this list even if your not going to participate in this initial phase of this street team project. If you can.. to help everyone who will try to call or hear Ayal's song Forward on the radio, please post in this thread any information you can about your station as follows:

Radio Station Letters:
Station Name:
Location:
Request telephone number:
Radio Station number to tune in:
Website Link:

Hi Robin.

A list of stations Forward will play on are found on Ayla's website page at: http://www.aylabrown.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=987

The station numbers are not listed on that page, but you can look them up at: http://newslink.org/statradi.html

Although "Adult Contemporary" is the official category, the stations are not necessarily listed under that category (at least not on this particular directory). For example, the stations in MA and RI are both under "Mixed Music".

Hope this helps.

Auntie Robyn brought up some excellent points and questions that many of us have which I will attempt to address here:

The specific stations listed will be the only stations which will have Ayla's song Forward and which will be eligible to play the song on their stations on and after April 9. These stations are categorized as Adult Contemporary. After the present AC campaign, the label may be in a position to release the song or songs to other stations as well so, although anyone is welcome to request an Ayla song on any station at any time, other stations most likely won't play it. Thats why we are focusing our street team efforts on THESE stations now. At this time, we are asking everyone to sit tight and not take any further action other than posting your name , city and where you heard of the task. Everyone will be contacted shortly with how to help promote Ayla, once we assemble all of our designated volunteers across the country. Of course anyone is welcome to make a random call merely asking to play one of Ayla's songs on a random station.

It is very exciting to see this outpouring of energy to offer to help promote Ayla with the 2007 Radio Street Team Project. We need reps from many more states across the nation so get your friends involved!

Ayla Fans! Just wanna let everyone know that Mediabase charts have shown that there were two plays of Forward on AC radio stations on April10.
This is great news for a brand new song with an indi label that went for adds on April 9. Let us know if you hear it!
