Are you using the right dimensions? I think the limit is 96x96 or 98x98 pixels.

umm idk i dont think so...... usually if u put a pic or an avatar that is to big it shrinks it down for u, because before i just put a regular sized pic up and it worked

What kind of file is the image you are using? jpeg, jpg, gif, etc.

If the following is the error message you keep getting:

you will have to save the image either on your hard drive or upload it to an image hosting site (ex. photobucket, imageshack). I don\'t think it lets you link to pictures directly in the gallery.

no i do save it into a folder before i put it as an avatar

no thats not the message i keep getting this is.......

no a folder is not the same thing as image shack or photobucket. if you hit properties for all the other avis on the forum, you\'ll see that they are all from some kind of hosting site. That is why it is saying the upload is failing.

i know saving it into a folder is not the same as image shack or photobucket, but mike said if i try saving it to a hard drive it might work

Hmm, it should allow you to upload it from your computer, but if not you may have to use an imagehosting site. I\'ll look more into it.

i had this problem on idol forums and i think i remember them saying that they had to clean something out but idk i cant really remember that much
