Everyone should go watch me kick butt in the trivia contest. Saltalamaccia! Should I enter for the craziest fan thing on boston.com? I don't think I am but some people seem to think so...all I know is that if Hazel Mae is there, autograph time. If Tina Cervasio is there, run away from her. If Dan Shaugnessy is there..well...run as fast as you can.

Yes, this event looks intriguing. If I have to work, though, I can kiss this one goodbye. And Liz, you should DEFINITELY enter for the craziest fan thing

yes this event looks like lots-o-fun!
Ayla\'s publicist is setting up a few things along with this event..
one being the Boston Phoenix will be there to watch Ayla perform, then do an interview with her.
so look for that in the Phoenix sometime soon.

I will not be around for this one. So whoever goes....have a blast!

The "Life Is Good Guys" talking about the event. I'm totally doing the scavenger hunt...like I said, the answer to every trivia question is Saltalamacchia...haha.

Totally your call but if this helps, here's the website and some information:=
http://www.lifeisgood.com/festivals/fenway/
Dunk-a-Yank Tank
World's Biggest Game of Catch
Peanut Pitching
Scavenger Hunts
Dugout Photos
Football Fling
Magic Shows
Bubble Gum Blowing Contests
Face Painting
Spin-to-Win
Batting Cage
Seed Spitting
Soccer Kick
Arts and Crafts
Dog Bowling
Baseball Speed Pitch
Double Dutch
Snaggle

• Three Fantastic Bands: Headliner The Gin Blossoms, Neil Diamond tribute band SuperDiamond (Sweet Caroline, anybody?), and family-friendly SteveSongs.

• World's Greatest Backyard Athlete competition. Watch hundreds of Frisbees fly off the Green Monster. See our athletes spit seeds, pitch peanuts, slam wiffle balls, and try to reach Ted's red seat. And stick around for a Warning Track Dash from pole to pole with more wacky surprises that a late season pennant race.

• Red Sox Super Fan competition. How crazy can they get? See ten rabid Red Sox fans compete for the title atop the Red Sox dugout, with an American Idol-style celebrity panel choosing the winner.

• World's Biggest Game of Catch. You have to see it to believe it. And you have to lend a hand to make it happen, too.

• Scavenger Hunt. We've got a hunt far tougher than the kids' version. Race with your friends to the far corners of the park and be the first to release your prize from a locked treasure chest.

• Dugout Photos. Don't miss the opportunity to take a seat on the bench with your friends and have your picture taken to remember your special day.

• Beach Balls and Tee Shirts. See more flying tees and beach balls than you've ever seen in one park before.

• Ballpark Food and Drink. It wouldn't be a great summer day at Fenway without a Fenway Frank, ice cream and cold soda or beer in hand. All your ballpark favorites will be available along with a couple of Life is good staples (PB&J, anyone?)

If that's not enough, keep your eye out for Red Sox legends throughout the day and step up close to that shining gold trophy dated 2004!

I mean I'm so excited but that's because I like to be a kid and Fenway is the greatest place on earth as far as I'm concerned. Anything that lets me go, game or not, I'll be there.

I'm totally doing the scavenger hunt hahaha. I can't wait to see who the Sox legend is. Hopefully Hazel Mae is there instead of Tina Cervasio or Kathryn Tappen if anyone goes. Hazel's the only one who actually knows what she's talking about.

Oh that Hazel Mae that left Canada to go south to Boston. I used to watch her on Roger Sportsnet. Yup, she's pretty good.
Sounds like a fun event...so I'm going

In conjunction with the Red Sox, and a slew of media and corporate sponsors, the company is sponsoring a day of fun and games at Fenway Park this Saturday, July 7th… with a goal of raising $1 million for The Red Sox Foundation and Project Joy (a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to using the healing power of play to foster the social and emotional development of Boston’s poorest children).

There will be an American Idol – type competition, The Red Sox Super Fan Competition… it will be judged by a three-person celebrity panel that will include former American Idol sensation Ayla Brown. Ten Red Sox fans will compete for the title of “Red Sox Super Fan”.

Ticket holders will get to participate in The Worlds Biggest Game of Catch and take part in a scavenger hunt… and then have their picture taken in the dugout.

Alright, I'm bringing my glove and a ball to be signed by the Sox legends who'll be there. Plus a picture in the dugout, so cool! haha. And how would one go about entering this superfan competition?

And last but certainly not least, vote Oki (Hideki Okajima) in the final man all-star balloting until tonight at 6 PM on redsox.com.

No, it's not as amusing as it sounds, I've seen it, haha. It is a Sox Fan competition that was advertised in the Globe for a while.
