From the reviews I've read, Loretta Lynn was a letdown. But Ayla seems to be getting some good press:

Quote:
In the opening slot, Ayla Brown proclaimed her newfound allegiance to country music, with her parents — Senator Scott Brown and his wife, Gail Huff — beaming near the front of the stage. Brown debuted a clutch of slick songs that should feel right at home on contemporary country stations. But a pair of covers neatly outlined her broad new approach, from the twang of Patsy Cline’s “Crazy’’ to the good-time rock of Fleetwood Mac’s “Go Your Own Way.’’
Source.

I went to this on Sunday. I can't say whether or not Loretta Lynn was a letdown, because I had honestly never heard of her before... :pinch: I thought she was good though...and 50 years of being in music is really impressive.
Ayla did great, and the crowd seemed to like her. :clappy:
There was a lot of trouble with the sound system though, so that wasn't good.

That's great that you were able to make it! Yeah, I think the sound system caused the most problems so Loretta probably wasn't as bad as some of the reviews have been making her out to be. That's good you thought she did well. And I'm so glad Ayla is clicking with country fans, it really bodes well for her future
