The selection of the 64 teams that will be in the NCAA tournament will be held on Monday Match 17/08 from 7pm-8pm live on ESPN.

Winning the 1st round in the ACC tournament might have been enough for BC to be selected. (and of course, with the great season)

Thanks for letting us know, Mario. This is great news, and I think they definitely have a good shot considering their season.

Yeah, I mean it's gonna be close I think. Cause last year, the ACC sent 5 teams if I got it right (NC, NC State, Maryland, Georgia Tech & Florida State).

BC is ranked 7th in the ACC but are 7-7 in the ACC / 20-11 overall and 5th place is Georgia Tech 7-7 (22-9) and 6th Florida State 7-7 (18-13). It goes by vote from a comitee so BC can move on to the tournament (considering the improvement and the performance from the rookies) and Georgia Tech not.

All the games are gonna be on tv so if the make it, it's gonna be on ESPN I think.

Just a reminder...this is on ESPN tonight at 7:00 p.m. ET!

They didn't make it. Must be really frustrating for the girls seeing all the teams from the ACC that made it that had a similar record.

Oklahoma bracket:

So North Carolina, Maryland, Duke and Virginia who were in the AP top 25 where easy choice. Georgia Tech and Florida State had similar record to BC...so kinda frustrating.....

So BC actually had 2 more wins than Florida State!!!!

Wow, that's pretty sad. No question they deserved it over FSU considering the whole freshman aspect but what can you do. Oh well, it was a big improvement over last season. Congrats BC!

yea bummer! but great season, improving is an awesome thing.. keep on trucking.

Yeah but the committee looks more at strength of schedule, win margin, etc. than wins and losses. Still, it is a bummer but such an improvement from last year. They just need to use this as motivation (as they did with the pre-season rankings having them finish 11 in the ACC) and practice hard and try to get back to the dance next year.
