Airline Virgin America celebrated its first flight to Philadelphia with a star-studded red carpet launch party hosted by Sir Richard Branson at Hotel Palomar in Center City. The inaugural flight touched down at PHL yesterday afternoon, and on board were a few Philadelphia-affiliated celebrities like actor Seth Green, who was born in Philadelphia. Virgin will have three nonstop flights to California, two to L.A., and one to San Francisco daily.
Ayla was one of the celebrities that was invited to the party, along with Glenn Howerton from “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” (Pic shown below), Fresh Price of Bel Air, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Seth Green, M. Night Shyamalan, Gossip Girl star, Penn Badgley, Amber Rose, and more!
On April 19th, Ayla will open up for one of her all-time favorite country music singers, Josh Turner, at the American Music Theatre in Lancaster, PA. “I have been obsessed with Josh Turner’s music for years and it’s always been a goal of mine to meet him. Never did I think I would get an opportunity to open up a show for him though!” said Ayla. “I hope this show is one of many more to come!”
Tickets are already on sale. Go to the ‘Tour’ section on Ayla’s website for the ticket link, or visit, www.JoshTurner.com for more information. Show starts at 8:00pm.
On the morning of March 18, Ayla sang “God Bless America” at the St. Patrick’s Day Roast in South Boston. The breakfast is held every year on St. Patty’s Day weekend and is hosted by State Senator Jack Hart. State politicians and local officials look forward to this event every year because it is one of the only opportunities they get to talk trash about the other elected officials of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. This year, the breakfast aired live on New England Cable News. Ayla’s father, United States Senator Scott Brown, participated in the roast, making jokes about Mitt Romney’s Cadillacs, his future opponent, Harvard Professor Elizabeth Warren, and making light of the fact that he was virtually the only republican in the entire room. After the breakfast, Ayla joined her family by walking in the South Boston St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Watch Ayla’s performance below:
